Sixling gin, launched by Grills Spirits in August 2018 is Ireland’s first and only cloudberry
gin. Sixling was awarded Best Irish Contemporary Gin 2020 at the world gin awards and
Best Irish Distilled Gin 2019 at the Irish Gin Awards. Cloudberries were plentiful in Ireland
up until the 1800s but are now extremely rare. Husband & wife team, Tom & Nicola Grills

source cloudberries from Scandinavia with the aim of bringing back a forgotten flavour

of ancient Ireland. They also use locally sourced Cooley Mountain elderflower and an
additional 8 botanicals to create a completely unique fruity floral gin with a smooth

herbal finish that has proven extremely popular with consumers.
