Sling Shot Distilled Irish Gin, the first product from Lough Ree’s micro-distillery in
Lanesborough, was released in October 2018. In 2019, Sling Shot was awarded Great
Gold at the Catavinum World Wine & Spirits competition, Silver by the American Distilling
Institute and Bronze at the San Francisco World Spirits competition. Sling Shot Gin
marries classic botanicals with citrus, fresh mint and local peat, creating a bold and fresh
contemporary Irish gin. Lough Ree Distillery is scheduled to open a larger distillery in
Lanesborough in 2020, providing scope for an enhanced product portfolio.

Brewer of Belgian style bottle-conditioned beers. All beers are matured in bulk at
3°C for between 6 weeks and 6 months before bottling and a further month of warm
conditioning. Brewed using spring well water & all-natural ingredients. Vegan friendly.
Product Range: Westport Blond 5.5%; Westport White 5% (wheat beer); Westporter Stout
5%; Westport Red Tripel 8.5% (Trappist style ‘tripel’ beer); Westport Extra 9.3% (strong
golden ale); Westport saison 6.3% (blond farmhouse ale); Westport Special Reserve 8.4%
(Trappist style ‘dubbel’ beer); 7 Virtues Lager 4.9%; 7 Virtues Lambik (fermented in oak
with wild yeast).
