Smyth & O’Reilly Artisan Irish Distillers was founded in 2015, based in the historic
Ballydarton House in Fenagh, Co Carlow. Smyth and O’Reilly developed Silver Spear Gin
as a premium Irish Gin in 2015/2016. Silver Spear Gin is a handcrafted, Irish distilled dry
gin which is created in small batches. The ingredients are carefully sourced to ensure
consistency of its delicate flavours across the year and changing seasons. Dawn wanted

to incorporate some of her favourite flavours from the kitchen at Ballydarton House,

like citrus and coriander. She also set out to create a gin that was refined enough to
drink neat. The recipe took 14 months to develop, a marriage of 14 botanicals working in

harmony. Not too floral, not too fruity, not too spicy.

St Mel’s Brewing Company is an Irish owned independent brewery, whose mission is to
brew the highest quality beers from the best possible ingredients, combining innovation,
passion, and tradition. The brewery produces an extensive range of own brand beer styles
and also develops and produces bespoke beer recipes for customers in the hospitality
industry. All beers are made from 100% natural ingredients; water, malted barley, hops
and yeast. They are chemical free, and are preserved by the natural qualities of the hops
and alcohol.
