Ballykilcavan Brewery is based at Ballykilcavan Farm, the home of the Walsh family for
13 generations since 1639. The new brewery is installed in a 240 year old stone grain
store, and all the beers are brewed using barley and spring water sourced from the farm.
Ballykilcavan won 6 medals at the 2019 Dublin Craft Beer Cup, the silver medal in the
2019 National Startup Awards in the Food and Drink category and was named Best New
Business in Laois in the National Enterprise Awards in 2019. The beers are available in
bottles and cans from off-licences and SuperValu throughout Leinster, and they are
releasing a new range of limited edition canned beers in summer 2020, the first of which
is an American-style raspberry what beer.

is fresh, clean taste, comparable to a light honey prosecco. Ginger & Lime is a little more
zesty, infused with fresh ginger and lime, it has a refreshing kick and taste experience
which is comparable to a mix between a ginger beer & a kombucha. Beekon - time to get
refreshed.
