been synonymous with excellence, its secret residing in the passion of its bakers and the
quality of ingredients used. As well as the popular sourdough, granary and seeded breads,
the Bretzel makes all-butter pastries and delicious traybakes. It’s a modern day well

The Cultured Food Company is situated in the heart of West Cork. They are a small
business with a team of 6, but they are growing year on year. They create handcrafted raw
fermented products including a range of sauerkrauts, kimchi and kvass tonics through the
process of wild fermentation. The products benefit from a long fermentation process - all

are traditionally barrel-aged and fermented over several months. This not only enhances

the flavour, but also ensures each jar is packed full of probiotics. The company’s mission
is simple: to lead the way in promoting and supporting a traditional diet, providing their
