Ó’CATHAIN IASC TEO

        Established in 1975, Ó’Catháin Iasc Teo is a family-run business and is one of Ireland’s premier
        producers of wholesale pelagic and demersal Irish fish for export.

        Raw materials are sourced from the Southern Irish fleet and are transported from the fishing
        grounds to its processing plant within a matter of hours.
        Ó’Catháin Iasc Teo incorporates 10 inshore vessels and six 45 metre deep-sea vessels. Specialising
        in mackerel, herring, horse mackerel, sprat, and tuna, the company also processes different types
        of whitefish in its Dingle facilities.

        Ó’Catháin Iasc Teo’s current operation in Dingle has a capacity to fillet and freeze 100 tonnes of
        fresh fish per day, and the ability to deliver both fresh and frozen Irish fish to any part of Europe.
        All the company’s work is done to the highest hygiene and quality standards, with the full HACCP
        quality control system applied to all stages of production. It also carries out histamine and other
        bacterial tests on all its products.
