FOYLE FISHERMEN’S CO-OP
Established in 1989 by a group of local Fishermen, Foyle Fishermen’s co-op is owned by the
member Fishermen who are also the company directors. The co-op sells whole fish via auction and
direct sales to primary and secondary processors in Ireland and also exports to wholesalers and
processors in the UK, France and Belgium.
The co-op re-packs fish for the Spanish retail market in partnership with a large supermarket chain.
The co-ops fish is sourced primarily from our fleet of member vessels.
