Savage and Whitten Wholesale Ltd based in Newry, Co. Down is ideally located
between Belfast and Dublin. Savage and Whitten’s history goes back to 1916
with the establishment of Newry Cash & Carry and again to 1920 when J&E
Whitten were formed. Both firms merged in 2000 to become the Savage &
Whitten Wholesale of today, the largest independent wholesaler in Northern
Ireland. As a member of the TODAYS Group they are able to offer the value and
range of a national distributor and carry over 6,500 wholesale lines. Covering
confectionery, soft drinks, grocery, non-food grocery, chilled, fresh & frozen.
They also have an extensive range of additional products via their Central Billing
partners to include all departments within the local convenience market.

This is a large-scale wholesaler and producers supplying will be expected to
be able to supply volume orders and meet the requirements of a large supply
chain network. Minimum distribution centre requirements apply e.g. vehicle
compatibility, pallet build requirements etc
